Vehicle Detail
2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit - Every Available Option + Custom Wheels & Brake Covers - Factory Powertrain Warranty - $27,500 FIRM The Overland Summit is the top of the line Jeep Grand Cherokee, and this one has literally every option available. The only option available that it doesn’t have is the rear entertainment system, as you have to choose between the TV screen on the ceiling or the Panoramic Sunroof that goes over the front and rear seats. This one has the Panoramic Sunroof, which is awesome (see photos). I bought it as a one-owner vehicle in October of 2014. Sticker price was $51,185. I still have the sticker, which I’ll obviously include. Now I believe the Summit model stickers around $60k with the same engine and options. Price Includes both sets of wheels - Custom 20" Wheels & Nitto Terra Grappler Tires + Factory 20” Wheels/Tires I would much prefer to sell as a complete package before I entertain the idea of taking the custom wheels and Nitto tires off and selling separately, but that may be an option later - if that option is available, I will update the listing, but for now I'm not interested in separating. In Service Date (Sold as New): 7/13/13 5 Years or 100,000 Mile Powertrain Warranty - Expires 7/13/2018 or at 100,000 Miles, Whichever Comes First HEMI 5.7 Liter V8 Engine 4 Wheel Drive with different drive modes for rock, snow, mud, sport, etc. Navigation, Satellite Radio, CD, Bluetooth Rear View Backup Camera Rain Sensing Automatic Windshield Wipers Factory 500+ Watt 10-Speaker Sound System w/Subwoofer Factory Remote Start Heated AND Cooled Perforated Saddle Leather Seating Heated Mirrors + Automatic Dimming Original Overland Black & Saddle Floor Mats (in nearly new condition) Jeep Rubber All-Weather Floor Mats and Cargo Mat (I added these for $200+) Sunroof - Retractable, Dual Pane Panoramic (Nearly the entire roof over front and rear seats is glass) Tire Pressure Monitoring System (Tells you your tire pressure and warns if high or low) Tow Package Heated Mirrors Automatically Dimming Rear View Mirror Front and Rear 4-Zone Climate Control Automatic Tailgate Opening/Closing Chrome Appearance Package (I believe that is only available on Overland and Overland Summit) Adjustable Height Air Suspension Extremely useful feature that allows you to lift and lower the vehicle on demand for various uses. Has 4 heights, which give you about 6” of total range from what information I was able to gather. See photos for a good visual of it at highest and lowest setting. There is Loading/Unloading Height (lowest) that allows you to get things (or grandma) in and out easier, Sport/Aerodynamic Height, Off-Road 1, and Off-Road 2 (highest). Automatically goes to Aerodynamic at highway speeds, which is a nice safety feature (handles better, less likely to roll), or when you put it in Sport Mode, which also stiffens the suspension to reduce body roll. Exterior Color: Black Metallic Interior: “New Saddle" Leather with Black Piping, Black Trim/Carpet, & Black Ebony Wood This particular color combination on the interior is hard to find, but it’s awesome in person. Took me a while to find one with it, but worth the search. The interior easily gets as many compliments as the exterior with the cool wheels and tires…in fact, almost everyone compliments the interior when they first see it. Seats are not only heated, but also cooled (something my Range Rover doesn’t even have). Custom (Non-Factory) Items Back windows are factory tinted, but front windows were tinted about a year ago to 35%, the legal limit in Missouri for front windows…not all that dark, but enough to keep sun from beating down on you, makes it much more comfortable to drive. Custom “HEMI” marked red brake caliper covers I can’t believe how much these help keep brake dust off of wheels. I just got them because they looked cool. :-) Custom Split 5-Spoke 20” Blaque Diamond Wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler Tires Approximately 20k miles on these, have been rotated roughly every 10k, including just recently (like 20 miles ago). These are THE SAME EXACT size as factory tires, but look bigger because of the aggressive treads. Ride is smooth and quiet, though. Wheels are aluminum, with a matte graphite/gunmetal finish and machined face. They are 1” wider than factory, which gives it a more aggressive stance, but retains factory tire size/height. This means you don’t have to recalibrate the speedometer to go back and forth between factory wheels/tires. Also comes with a fifth Blaque Diamond custom wheel (without tire) that’s brand new in the box. I thought about adding spare tire kit to the tailgate, but never did. These wheels and tires include their own Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors (TPMS) so that you can switch back and forth between these and the factory wheels if you want, without uninstalling/reinstalling sensors. These wheels/tires were around $3,600 shipped (with the 5th wheel). They really make the vehicle, though. I get tons of compliments about how nice these wheels/tires look on this Jeep from people young and old, male and female alike. Also comes with factory 20" polished aluminum wheels and tires (not pictured).I forgot to get photos, but these are the top of the line, premium factory wheels. They are 20" polished aluminum (almost looks like chrome) that's available exclusively on the Overland models, as far as I’m aware. These tires are the ones it came with from the factory and have about 33,000 miles on them, so a couple of those tires may need to be replaced soon. Body Condition & Collision Disclosure This Jeep is in what I would consider excellent condition. I accidentally clipped the garage door on the spoiler that juts out over the rear window. Spoiler is scuffed up, but could possibly be buffed out. If it had to be painted, it wouldn’t cost much, as it’s a small part that’s easily removed. It’s just never bothered me being up on top of the jeep like it is, so I haven’t bothered having it repaired. Other than a gravel ding and the scuffed spoiler, there are no other flaws to speak of (though there may be some minor rock chips on front bumper?). I've kept it waxed religiously, so paint has been well protected. I was rear-ended at a stop light in it, but damage was minor enough that police didn’t ticket anyone or make out a report. Tailgate had a smooth/round dent, and the rubber/chrome piece on bumper. It was repaired by Dale’s Collision Repair in Blue Springs…look them up if you don’t know of Dale’s. They have been around forever and they do great work. This is the only body work I’ve had done on the vehicle. Recalls & Maintenance Vehicle has had a recall for a wiring harness in the vanity mirror in 2014, and a recall for a faulty fuel pump this year, both of which have been performed. Those recalls, a tune-up, and all other maintenance (other than oil changes), have been done by the Jeep dealer in Lee’s Summit, Mo. I use synthetic oil exclusively in it, and oil shouldn't need to be changed until it hits roughly 59,000+ miles (can't recall, but window reminder sticker is there).
