The 1988 Suzuki RM80 was no exception. Very rarely do you find an original unrestored motocross bike in this condition. As we know most of these (especially the smaller cc ones) ended up in the hands of kids that rode them into the ground. This particular example was spared as it was carefully used in its 1st year or so, then carefully stored and preserved. The only parts that are not original are the tires and the fuel lines which were replaced due to dry rot/cracking a few years back. The only place on the bike that looks to have been 'touched up' is the right side clutch cover (where a boot or shoe would rub) They did an ok job, but the touch up paint isn't a perfect match. i took a close up of the area so you can see what I am talking about. All in all it is probably one of the nicest late 80s RM survivors left and it starts, runs, and rides as good as it looks. Please feel free to make a reasonable offer as valuing something in this condition with nothing to compare it to can be difficult.
