This is one of the nicest older Mercedes you'll ever find. There is NO rust, NO body work, NO hail dimples and it's never been painted. I have owned it for 5 years and driven it over 60,000 miles personally including trips to Key West and Wisconsin this past summer. I bought it with higher mileage due to the impeccable maintenance and condition of the body and engine. I would have no problem jumping in the car and driving it accross the US. ***Notice that engine is running in photos with no check engine or warning lights on at all. This non-smoking car has every single possible option you can think of that was available that year plus more. Everything is power assisted, including the telescopic steering wheel. The air conditioner is ice cold and heat works great. It has dual power 7-way seats, 3 position memory seats on driver's side, remote mounted 6 disk Alpine CD player, power sunroof, power folding rear headrests, rear AC/Heat, built in Cell phone, etc, etc. It even has a first aid kit in the rear hat shelf! The leather is well worn on front seats but are extremely comfortable and a set of seat covers fixes that. Headliner material was sagging and removed from the sunroof slider but rest of headliner is in great shape. I've owned it for 5 years and made numerous repairs and upgrades to it over that period of time. It has almost new tires (installed before major road trips last summer), new brakes, new spark plugs and AC service. Over the last few years, I've replaced the radiator, hoses, lower A arms, tie rods and struts. There are no oil drips in the driveway, no visible leaks and it doesn't use a drop in between oil changes. I run synthetic oil only and change oil every 3000 miles. I routinely get 24-26 miles per gallon on the highway with the air running and cruise control set at 75mph. In normal city driving, I get 19-20mpg. With a 26 gallon tank, it will go far longer than your bladder will. This summer it developed a miss on one of the cylinders. I was on a road trip when it happened so I didn't have a full set of tools and opted to just replace the spark plugs. Turns out it was a coil pack (basically a single spark plug wire). I ordered the new part as well as new plug boots and have a good used coil pack from one that I changed out previously a few years ago. The car is perfectly driveable the way it is and you can replace the part when you get home. Buyer responsible for pickup or shipping from 72921, Alma, AR.
