This 2001 Ford Taurus has been well maintained, including regular oil changes. The engine runs very well. The tires are about a year old. Other recently replaced items include the battery, alternator, brake pads, and clutch. The fuel economy has averaged 20-22 mpg. Clear and clean title. The car has rust in certain places which has been accurately represented in the pictures. The heating works perfectly. However, the A/C isn't working. I am not sure why, because I got the A/C replaced last year and Freon added as well. The hood closes but does not lock as the release cable appears to be in need of repair or replacement. The car has a few, minor electrical issues. The passenger door does not unlock remotely and has to be opened with a key or manually unlocked from inside. The fan blows only at high speed (number 4) - lower speeds don't work. This is likely due to a bad blower resistor which is a $23 part. I may have an opportunity to fix it before the auction is over.
