THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR YOUR LOVED ONE, YOUR FAMILY - OR EVEN YOURSELF!!! Sorry for the long text in this ad - but if you take a few minutes to read it - you should have most of your questions answered. LOW MILEAGE ORIGINAL COLLECTOR’S TRUCK!! There were only 6,281 Dakota R/T Trucks manufactured in 1999. This is one of only 1,100 Color Code R4/PR4 FLAME RED Club Cabs built that year. A Rare production number by automotive standards. This truck still has its Factory Original Paint in VERY beautiful condition. Aside from some very slight peeling starting at the top windshield area and few very slight dings - this paint on this truck is truly exceptional. (see photos). Most Mopar paint jobs suffer from extreme lifting and flaking of the clear coat, but not this one. ALSO - This is a CALIFORNIA RUST FREE TRUCK from day one! It sold new in Santa Cruz CA and has been in the sunny dry San Francisco Bay Area and San Joaquin Valley all its life. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN! Man o man I hate to do this! But ...I NEED to sell this wonderful Dakota R/T. I purchased this truck (my dream truck) a few months ago. I was planning on keeping it forever, but unexpected Financial Circumstances have forced me to let go of this truck ASAP! DON'T BE AFRAID TO MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER! THERE'S STILL TIME TO PARK THIS TRUCK UNDER YOUR TREE FOR THE HOLIDAYS! This R/T Dakota is EXTREMELY CLEAN! I’ve owned a number of these over the years - and this one is the closest to New that I have seen. It was garage kept and under cover for many years. It has only 94,400 pampered miles on it which is Very Very Low Miles for a 1999 vehicle. Engine and Transmission Runs perfectly. All STOCK. No Hotrodding. Air Conditioning, Heater, etc. work properly. Fresh Smog today passed with flying colors - no problems. This truck still has its Factory Original Flame Red paint in beautiful condition. It also comes with a nice hard shell tonneau cover and bed liner. It also comes with the soft car cover that protected it from the terrible ravages of dust in the garage all these years. lol This Dakota is FULLY LOADED with ALL of the Available options: Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Seat, Tilt Wheel, Top of the line Stereo, Sliding Rear Window, Carpeted Floor Mats, Deluxe Towing Package with upgraded radiator, oil cooler, and power steering cool, and Deluxe Power Mirrors. (Note, I replaced the original ‘Mickey Mouse Ears” shaped mirrors with a set of newer 2004 style Deluxe Power Mirrors). You'll notice that I added some chrome handles as well as a few R/T emblems here and there. The white R/T lettering is also white "Reflective" vinyl that REALLY stands out at night when 'lit up' by headlights etc. Aside from these few mild visual changes that I made to suite my taste, this truck is "Bone Stock." When I bought the truck it needed tires - so I replaced them with 4 brand new tires about three weeks ago. They’re a bit wider than stock but look great! Tires only have about 30 miles on them TOTAL. I mounted the new tires on a NEAR PERFECT set of CHROME R/T RIMS which I’ve been saving for years until I found this truck. You can see from the photos - the shiny chrome rims coupled with the shiny gloss red paint make quite a beautiful combination. When we bought the truck we noticed that the front suspension was showing wear. The truck is equipped with a lowering kit (probably cost the previous owner $200 - $400 bucks) It looks great, but I believe that the lowering kit probably had alot to do with premature wear of the front suspension. We completely and thoroughly rebuilt the ENTIRE FRONT SUSPENSION.(see photos) EVERYTHING underneath has been Replaced, cleaned, and detailed. Looks clean and new again. The COMPLETELY NEW FRONT END REBUILD Includes: • New Upper and Lower Ball Joints, • New Upper Control Arm bushings, • New Complete Lower A-Arms, • New Tie Rod Ends, • New Complete Hub Assemblies, • New Disc Brake Rotors, • New Discs,New Pads, • New Front Coil Springs • New Front Shocks EVERYTHING is BRAND NEW on both wheels! I kept the truck about 1-2” lower than stock (couldn’t resist) - but the front now has a better “bounce” to it. A high speed tire balance and front end alignment finished up the rebuild. This is as far as I got with my refurbishing before “Life” tapped on my shoulder and now I need to sell this truck PRONTO! If I had only known the circumstance I was in - I never would have bought this truck in the first place. Like I said - my LOSS is your GAIN! I Believe that my "Buy it Now" price is quite reasonable considering the condition of this wonderful R/T. No reasonable offer refused - But PLEASE keep any offers REASONABLE. There are many R/T trucks out there priced in the 3-$5000 range but most are hammered and hotrodded, needing tons of work. This truck is NOT one of those. Check out the photos for yourself. This is a RARE OPPORTUNITY to acquire one of these beautiful and collectible trucks that has been adult owned (I’m 60 yrs old) and pampered its whole life. This is one of the few R/T’s that haven’t been beaten and battered. Please be serious about this vehicle and have the necessary funds in hand if you decide to buy it. I have a fresh California Smog Certification plus all of the necessary paperwork needed to sell this vehicle. Normally I’m a stickler regarding the paperwork - but because I wasn’t planning on driving this truck for awhile and because I was planning on keeping this truck forever, I was in no big hurry to register this truck when I first bought it a few months back. My apologies for that - but you’ll receive EVERYTHING you’ll need to easily register this truck and own it in your name with no hassles. Yes, I could easily go to DMV and finish the registration in my name - but I don’t want to wait three to fours weeks to receive a new title from Sacramento. Sadly, I need to sell this truck NOW. As stated - I have a fresh Smog, plus a Clear, signed off California Title from the previous owner - plus the Bill of Sale from the previous owner showing the sale of the truck from her to me. To complete the ‘chain of custody and ownership” enabling you to register this truck in your name. All you’ll need from me...besides the truck... is the aforementioned Signed off Title, a Bill of Sale from me to you and the Fresh Smog Certification - and you’re ‘Good to Go’ as they say. Thank you for reading this LOOONNG Text! This vehicle is for sale in my local area. Therefore, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time unless sold thru "Buy it Now" button or successful offer is accepted via this auction. Lastly - I have a pair of specialized California license plates that I will release to you as a separate transaction for $150. If you want these plates, we can work out the details separate from the sale and purchase of this truck. These plates say: “A 99 R/T” and would make a great finishing touch for this truck. Available separately. PLEASE CONTACT THROUGH THIS AD - OR CALL RON - WORK NUMBER: 209.579.5516
