Hello Folks RUNS GREAT! 1985 300SD sedan (VIN: WDBCB20C9FA115033) 09/85 This is the BEST year for this Model! NO RUST! No Dings! No Dents! Original Paint! Approximately: 325,000 to 335,000 miles First 26 years in Atlanta. First owner till 1999 and 199,000 miles Second Owner in Atlanta: Airline Mechanic 15 years: He replaced timing chain and injectors. I Purchased June 2012. Virginia State Inspection good until December 2017! All components are in good working order, every feature works (door lock, sunroof, seats), and the car is mechanically sound (engine, transmission, tires, brakes, suspension, etc.). Instrument cluster rebuilt- only clock does not work, but all gauges work. Timing chain shows no wear or stretching, transmission shifts smooth. The engine has plenty of power and cruises nicely on the highway. Full size spare. Anti-Lock Brakes-ABS! Owner’s Manual. Two Keys. Average 27 MPG on Highway and 23 mpg City. GOOD: Instrument cluster rebuilt-. Valves recently adjusted, rear axle oil changed. Oil changed every 3000 miles or 6 months (Always synthetic5w/40) New Front Brake rotors and disc pads, fluid changed. New air filter and both fuel filter. Fuel Tank drained and new screen installed, replaced fuel and vacuum lines recently replaced transmission filter and fluid. Power steering fluid and filter changed. New upper and lower coolant hoses, thermostat and coolant and all belts. Replaced oil cooler lines. One year old battery. Turbo is in good shape, spools nicely. Tires have plenty of wear left. Sunroof works. Many new front suspension parts: Upper and lower ball joints, Upper control arms (both LH and RH sides) Idler arm, motor and transmission mounts. Alternator brush voltage pack replaced. Starts well in cold weather. Very little smoke. It cruises very well on the highway. NEEDS REPAIR: AC compressor needs replacing. I have the items to FIX! I have a rebuilt AutoZone unit compressor, receiver/dryer and expansion valve to sell for $100.00 Dash has cracks and wood trim needs some work. Driver seat needs new springs. Cruise control and clock does not work. Passenger front window motor needs replacing. Rear Driver window needs new motor. Passenger mirror needs outside spring- Power glass feature works fine.
