On Dec-08-16 at 09:55:08 PST, seller added the following information: Dec 8 update: Car was inspected today by a VW bug expert, he was very impressed with the car and only found one rust spot in the rear left heating duct. He also noted that there was a patch repair done to the area under the battery. The expert also noted that it was the original matching engine and speedometer. The current owner also has all documents since the car was purchased by the first owner.
