1967 Mustang Coupe White with Red Racing Stripes and red deluxe interior. It looks like a Hot Wheel. It was restored about 6 years ago and used as a daily driver until about two years ago. It was a complete ground up restoration and everything was taken down to the metal and all bad metal was replaced. All mechanicals were replaced and the motor and transmission was rebuilt. The car does show some wear and tear because it was a daily driver but the metal is completely solid and the motor runs great. Comes with high end cover and extra spare parts. Whatever I have laying around. Major things done to or added to the car: * New full floor pan and trunk pans, new quarters and door skins, inner wheel wells and more.* 289 V8 rebuilt bored .030 over*New Wheels, with 235 45R17 tires but the rear could be bigger. Staggered rims.* Automatic transmission rebuilt* All new brakes. New rear drums and new brakes system with front discs.* New Vintage air conditioning added.* Upgraded Alternator.* New stereo, amp, speakers and subs.* New headliner, carpet, seats and various interior items.* Safety wise, in addition to brakes, we added headrests and shoulder belts.* New base coat and clear coat paint. High quality job and you can not feel the stripes under the clear coat. The bad: * Been in garage and under cover the past few years when it was taken off the daily driver status. Only been driven on beautiful days, however, now it has developed a small leak from sitting. * Paint looks great but has some small issues. NOT RELATED TO RUST. The paint was damaged under the fueling spout. My son filled it up to the top and parked it on a steep hill and apparently it drained out and damaged the paint. You could just paint the small panel and be fine. A new gas cap would fix this. We just don't park on hills anymore. Great car and off to a great start for show. On Nov-29-16 at 17:04:05 PST, seller added the following information: Update: I was asked about power steering. Yes, all new parts for it including a new rag joint on the column. Also has the quick ratio Borgeson Steering box. I think it is 1 1/2 turns from stop to stop. Also, new shocks and bushings etc I was also asked why it isn't driven anymore. My son is out of the house now and doesn't have a place to keep it. So, I only drive it a few times every now and then to keep it maintained. I also have a completely restored 1969 Firebird I drive and will probably list next. Also, remember it is Sold AS IS and all sales final. Please read the whole listing and ask questions now. I rate it a 7 out of 10. It needs a few items to spruce it up but it is a solid car and as far as I know never wrecked. I will include all the paint cans from PPG, parts I have, and anything else that can help you out if you were to have questions in the future. It looks like a few drops coming off the transmission pan and it causes a spot on the floor about the size of a half dollar. Maybe a drip or two off the oil pan. They both have newer seals and the transmission pan was changed out with a plug for easy change of the fluid. I have included pics of what I could get to.
