Car still retains it's numbers matching 401 Nailhead 445 Torque Wildcat engine and two speed automatic transmission. This first year Riviera was fully restored in 2008 and comes with a binder full of pictures documenting the restoration. Some of the options include Power Windows, Brakes and Steering, Tilt Wheel, Speed Warning as well as Deluxe Black Leather Interior. At the time of restoration (80,000 mi.) the engine, transmission and differential were rebuilt (now 107000). The car starts with a click of the key and settles into a smooth idle. New true dual exhaust, Suspension and brakes. New American Racing Polished Torq Thrust II Wheels and new Good Year Radials (Original Buick Road Wheels included). This car runs strong and is ready for the new owner to get in and enjoy! The original rust free body was taken down to bare metal (see pics) and expertly painted in original Granada Red (very rare), the paint is gorgeous. The deluxe black leather interior is all new, including Seat Upholstery, Headliner, Door Panels, Woodgrain Console Kit, Carpet and Dash. Interior looks as new. All new weather stripping. This car runs, drives, and functions better than new. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner first year Riviera, words do not do it justice, you will not be disappointed.
