I bought this jeep as a project but I don't have the time to fix it up. It has a six cylinder with a five speed manual transmission. The clutch was recently replaced when the engine was changed. The body has 221,000 miles but the engine has only about 100,000 miles. The engine does smoke some but I will include another newer complete fuel injected engine that includes the wiring harness, engine computer and sensors. The frame is solid, the engine runs well, the body has some rust on the sides and the floors are good with the exception of a hole behind the driver seat that could easily be patched. The tires are decent but the exhaust needs some work. The windshield is new. The interior is pretty decent but faded a bit. The soft top has no tears. The master cylinder is new, the water pump, thermostat and belts are new. The plugs and air filter are new. The valve cover gasket was just replaced. The engine has the Carter two barrel carburetor, with a hand choke. This could easily and inexpensively be converted back to an auto choke. The jeep is drivable, but could use some attention. It is a good project car for someone with a few skills.
