Vehicle Detail
2002 Honda Accord EX. 6 Cylinder (3.0 Liter), Fuel Injection, Front Wheel Drive. Black Sports Coupe, with Black Interior. 138K Miles. The car runs great, is reliable, and is comfortable and sporty.I will give you the CarFax I ran on the car when I bought it ~ 6 months ago. We bought it for out daughter to drive around in, now she is off in college - we don't need it.Well equipped. Has leather interior (black), power driver seat. Interior is generally in great condition, but the drivers seat has a split in one of the seams on the lower cushion. All other seats are great. Power sunroof. 6 Disk CD Changer, AM / FM radio. Power windows.Cold Air ConditioningOutside has a rear spoiler, and Honda chrome wheels. It has power mirrors. Now the issues:1. Would prefer to sell out of the Tucson area (Casa Grande / Benson / Sahuarita). Right now, it won't pass smog (it is showing a Check Engine Light) without some work, most likely pulling the intake manifold off and drilling out the carbon in the EGR Port. Apparently this is a common condition on Hondas and Acura's, and needs to be done on a 100K mile basis. I don't want to mess with it. I have a dealers repair procedure if you are the mechanical type. While I was troubleshooting the car (in the last 4 months) I replaced all the plugs, swapped the coil-packs around, and replaced the catalytic convertor. 2. The car was involved in a minor bump, and the hood doesn't close all the way (it latches securely, though). No lowball offers, this is a good, reliable car, I just don't have time to dig in and get the Check Engine light to go off.2002 HONDA ACCORD EXVIN: 1HGCG22522A008662COUPE3.0L V6 SFI SOHC 24VFRONT WHEEL DRIVEOn Oct-04-16 at 06:55:27 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE 10/4/2016: To answer a question on the front hood - I added a series of pictures. The only real damage is a cut in the bumper (shown), and the hood is sprung up on the sides. BOTH the hood latches work (the one you release from inside the car, and the one you manually release in the front). The hood closes solidly and securely with no play. Also added is a shot of the nice engine bay, with the relatively new battery.
