96 RMW LDM 131k Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited Estate Wagon with 131k miles. Collectors Edition like every other 96 Roadmaster. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Base 2.56 gears; open rear end, rated for 3000 lbs. towing. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Clean history - send me your email address and Ill send you the history report. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight except a small dent on bumper. Above average. Paint: Paint is very nice. Has a few rock chips, and some staining on plastic panels glued to rear doors. Above average also. Wood: Upper wood trim was removed, painted tan and reinstalled so it wont peel like most do at this age. The side panel fake wood is in very good shape - all shiny and only a few nicks and chips. Other: Lower stainless bright trim has a few dings on the rear quarterpanel pieces but otherwise nice. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield and all other glass are good with no chips, cracks or scratches. Undercarriage is solid with light surface rust as seen in pics. Underhood sheet metal/wheelhouses are solid. Tailgate sill and door jambs have a couple small paint chips as seen in pics. Aluminum wheels are in fair shape - some clearcoat peeling. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in good shape. Dash has no cracks. Leather seating areas are in very nice shape. Carpet in seating area is very nice with some minor stains. Headliner has a small tear in the back. Steering wheel is in nice shape and dye is mostly intact. No smoke or pet odors. Nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The power antenna doesnt work but all other power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, dual power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, keyless entry, rear window release, rear wiper, twilight sentinel, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out great. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 50% tread remaining on a matched set of good quality whitewall radials. Solid, quiet original stainless steel exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
