We are selling this 1973 Datsun 240 Z ... This Dastun has been sitting in a barn for past 11 years... It came in on a car carrier to us about three weeks ago..We put this on the lift, and very surprised how good it looked underneath!! It was solid, no rust and no holes, We put a new fuel pump in to get it started, then the water pump needed to be replaced, then we replaced the battery...We tuned it up.. washed it up, buff it out a little.. and looks, runs and sounds great... Drives up the road like it did 40 years ago... Our friend purchase this car for his wife some time ago... the car was purchase originally from a local Datsun dealer here in Vermont... Then our friend purchase this car from the original owner for his wife...This car has had only two owners in it's life time... We still have the original carburetors and the hub caps that came with the car... The driver side seat is ripped, there is a small crack in the dash, the padding by the shifter is missing, and a crack in the plastic by the shifter...There's a little surface rust below the driver side door, but that's it... The gas gauge don't work, the brake lights does not work, and the air conditioner belt is not on the compressor...It looks like some parts of the car has been re-painted.. The original chrome and molding and all of the rubber around the doors looks great.. All of the body lines are straight, doors shut solid, everything else works on this car....Very-Very solid Car !!!!! This will be a great car for a any collector... You don't see to many of these around in this shape, or with this color I guess.... I did my best to list everything on this car to you ,, What is wrong or broken on this car..I think I got everything, but If I missed anything, I did my best to described it to you... Of Course this car will be sold as is: We are running a seven day auction on this great car... We were offer $12,500 before it even got off the car carrier that day.. Then we found out what these cars are we really worth and going for... So have fun bidding this week ...
