I purchased this Volvo 1800 ES from a Florida car collection earlier this year then had it fine tuned by a Volvo master technician at VC Automotive in Red Bank NJ. Showing only 73,xxx miles this ES is one of 8,000 produced between 1972 and 1973 and features a working COLD factory air conditioner, 4 speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive, original (non working) AM radio, 4 wheel disk brakes, driving lights, limited slip rear and Bosh FI. All gauges work-even the clock, although slow. The interior is in excellent shape with no tears, tight head liner and perfect door panels. There is crack on the dashboard but it cant be seen from the seating position so you don't even know its there. The defroster control lever works and blows hot air on demand but the floor/temp levers are frozen and will include a replacement heater exhange box part for the winner to install. Rust free underside with solid floors and rocker panels. The car has been re painted by the prior owner and shows very well with some minor bubbles (size of a finger nail) around the passenger side front glass and 3 small paint chips. Chrome is in excellent shape and all panels are straight and ding free. The engine runs amazingly, shifts smoothly and OD works perfectly, starts on one crank and runs great around town and at hyway speeds.
