Vehicle Detail

This is a NO RESERVE auction for a 2002 stage 3 B5 Audi S4. Do Not Bid unless you intend to Buy! Please read the entire listing before placing a bid! Also read the answer question section in case someone has already asked your question. I am selling this car because I have 3 B5 S4s! 2 Stage 3 and one stage 1. (see explanation below) These cars are ridiculously fast and a great value / bang for the buck. This S4 has the following modifications: K04 Genuine Borg Warner turbos750 cc Bosch injectors2.0 coilpac upgrade / ICM delete3 bar fuel pressure regulatorStage 3 Custom tune for 91 octane (Optional E85 Tune available) SACC turbo back exhaust (the loud version)2.7t engine with 110k milesHitachi 85mm Mass air flow sensor in larger diameter cold air intakeECS Tunning vent boost gaugeBoss Audio touch screen head unit with BT streaming audioRockford Fosgate speakers in place of stock speakersDaytona Grey pearl Trim and painted B7 Audi wheelsCarbon fiber wrapped interior trim Slotted / drilled front brake calipers Maintenance that has been done to the car: New power steering pumpNew power steering rackNew Timing beltNew water pumpNew front brake padsNew tires all aroundNew half shaftsNew fuel pumpNew NKG BKR7E spark plugs The car has less than 1000 miles with all the modifications and maintenance that I have done to it. If I didn't have 3 B5 S4s, I'd keep it! When I bought this car it had the dreaded Chinese K04 turbos on stock ECU. I did not know they were not Borg Warner and so went ahead and upgraded to stage 3 fueling and software. Needless to say, I had nothing but trouble with over boost conditions and not long after the upgrade one of the turbos blew. I went ahead and replaced the turbos with genuine Borg Warner K04 turbos. The engine had low oil pressure, I suspected engine damage due to the over boosting Chinese garbage so I decided to replace it with a good used 2.7t engine. All this was happening over a 5 months time frame and in the meantime, a friend of mine needed to sell his Stage 3 S4 due to financial issues and I decided to buy it. Once this car was all fixed up, I decided to sell it and keep my friends S4.Here is my assessment of how the car is now: The engine and transmission are in great shape and it runs excellent. Its scary fast! The paint is in good shape, there are a few chips but nothing major. The interior is in good shape. There is a small tear in the driver side bottom seat and bolster but nothing real bad. The windshield has some tiny chips but no cracks. The Grey / Black is a great color combination. Its a great looking car! Things that I would do to the car had I decided to keep it:The battery should probably be replaced before it gets too cold out there. It starts fine, but its a few years old and I wouldn't chance getting stuck somewhere. The clutch is stock. It works fine, but I was planning to replace it with a South-bend clutch once it wore out. As long as you drive like an adult it will last a good while. The stereo has hands free BT capability but whoever installed it did not install a microphone. For dirt cheap and a bit of elbow grease you can have your phone calls come through the stereo and talk hands free while you drive. If you plan on tracking the car I would invest in coilsovers and an upgraded side mount intercoolers (or run race gas) This car will make someone a very dependable high output car. Good luck and happy bidding! On Sep-23-16 at 21:49:24 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a response to a very detailed inquiry that I though I post in the listing. Hi, sorry for the delay in responding, I was taking in the car to have the upstream 02 Sensors and the Leak Detection Pump replaced as I had gotten intermittent codes on them and wanted to wait until my Audi specialist could inspect the items you were concerned about. As stated in the listing all the maintenance and modifications have less than 1000 miles and are not more than 6 months old. The front rotors/pads are new. The rears have 75% of life on the pad and the rotors are in excellent shape (i.e. can be turned). There are no more mechanical conditions that I am aware of or concerned about. It is your preference on how you want to handle the shipping. You are welcome to pick up personally or have a shipper pick it up. The car is located in Pueblo West Colorado. I never registered the car in my name because while it was being fixed I purchased another stage 3 S4 which I decided to keep due to sentimental value because it was my friends. The previous owner has signed off on the title, and even though it is in my possession, I have not signed it as the buyer so you could sign it as the new buyer without issues. The car has approximately 600 crank horsepower or about 460 hp to the wheels. This car has not been dyno tested but this exact tune on the exact same configuration produces that kind of power. I do not have a 0-60 time and I’m not sure I want to launch with the stock clutch it to get the best time. 0-60 time is extremely driver dependent, however, I may do a video tomorrow just to prove that the car is indeed scary fast as stated in the listing. There is no rust on the body or the underside that me or my tuner saw. The driver seat has a tear in the crease that was fixed by the previous owner. I will post a picture of it tomorrow. The center display in the odometer panel has dead pixels which is common with these cars. Module masters fixes them with a 5 year guarantee for $150. The body has some minor chips and scratches but for a 15 year old car, the paint work is in excellent shape. There is some signs of paint oxidation especially on the roof. It’s not terrible but if I were to keep the car, I would do a carbon fiber wrap on the roof. The hood has been repainted because there was a quarter sized ding in the middle of it as well as chips on the front. The car does not show any signs of being in any kind of major accident. Finally, I forgot to mention that the car also has Forge diverter valves in anodized black. I will provide the name and phone number of the tuner who did all the work to verify the vehicles condition if you want to send me an email.
