What you are viewing is an 1965 Ford F250 4X4 step side pickup. This truck is very clean and all original. Has the original mileage with only 89800miles. The body is in excellent condition. Does have on the right had lower finder behind the tire a small rust hole that is the size of a dime or smaller. The truck does have a few holes from mounting different accessories over the years, not rust holes just bolt holes. The only down fall that the truck has is the bed, the inside wooden floor as you can see in the pictures has mostly deteriorated away, however they do make replacement wood floor kits. A couple of the cross rails that the floor mounts to has some minor rust in them. However they also make replacement rails. The inside of the truck is in very good condition. The seat sits nicely and does not have any rips or tares. The power train consists of a 300c.i.d. inline 6 cylinder the engine has been converted over to electronic ignition. It is backed up with a 4spd transmission with granny gear. Has 4.56 axle ratios the rear axle is a Dana 60 and the front axle is a Dana 44 closed knuckle front. It has recently had a power brake booster conversion kit installed. Also recently installed new brake shoes. Has original factory grill guard. Has factory rear overload springs. Also has factory installed spot light on driver side. Other new features include new floor mat, new seat cover and cushion, new battery, new tail lights, new starter. Also has a new electronic brake controller, with two trailer connections one at the bumper and one at the headache rack. Also has a custom headache rack at the front of the bed. Sliding rear window. Has a 5th wheel plate in the bed. The frame as you can see in the pictures has been reinforced to support the weight of a water tank. A little history about the truck. I purchased the truck from the original owner, witch was the Mandan Rural Fire District in North Dakota was purchased from them in October of 2007 at that time the truck only had 30341miles. And like most fire trucks it was always kept inside. This truck was used as a grass and brush fire truck. They did not use salt on the roads in north Dakota due to the extreme cold weather. From 2007 to present I have managed to put 59000 miles on the truck. I have pulled my horse tailor and other small trailers and just used as a driver. The truck gets looks and thumbs up every where I go. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. I still have the five original Firestone 17in one peace steel wheels "those were special order" This truck can be driven or taken to shows as an all original truck.
