Finally pulling the plug on an old friend. :-( Has 217,000 miles on it and a cracked head gasket, possible intake gaskets--- coolant is being leaked into the exhaust. Would make a good fix-and-flip side project, or a good source for increasingly hard-to-find parts--- everything else is in good working condition. The car runs and can make short trips. I have a folder with the car's service history--- I bought it in 2006 from my dad, who bought it from the dealer in 2003 (previously driven by one lessee). It was dealer serviced at Kutztown Auto until the past two years when I switched to a closer mechanic. Believe it or not, it was still getting 27 mpg on the highway just last month before the crack! This car has the SLE trim level, with all the bells and whistles, a 12 CD changer in the trunk, and a moonroof. There is some rust on the rear wheel well, and the car needs an inspection.
