Vehicle Detail

Bad ass big block 57 Chevy Clear AZ title, currently registered and insured, running and driving vehicle. Life story: I'm the very 1st person to ever disassemble this car! It's never been raced, never hacked up, no wrecks, a little over 80k showing on the odometer, might be original miles, never know... It's originally a 6cyl 210 sedan, had no motor or trans when I got it, was a complete car other than that but needed complete resto. All body panels on this car is the original sheet metal, car was still in it's original paint when I got it, all the original wiring is intact, working and in good condition. Dome light, dash lights, speedo, fuel, turn signals are working. I did not hook up idiot lights or temp gauge though. There is an after market gauge set under the dash though with oil press, temp, and volts. Repairs that were done to this car are as follows: Front DS floor pan (original donor was used), PS rear pan (Chinese), partial trunk pan patch and new spare tire well was installed, small patch in both quarters just behind the door about 2"x2" in size, PS fender at bottom. Welding was done by experienced welder in auto body and aircraft sheet metal (me), all patches were butt welded then smoothed out (pics of repairs available upon request) This car has good body braces and rockers, there was absolutely no rot in those places. All the body work and paint has been done with professional grade products (evercoat, BASF, etc.) Bottom line on body, NOT SHOW CONDITION, very nice driver but some of the chrome is faded, some chrome is very nice because I've replaced it. The windshield is brand new, new windshield and back glass gasket (installed with sealant under the gasket, so no annoying leaks!) side and back glass are original and has some scratches in it. Some of the molding have small dings, the paint is about a 9 out of 10 due to some small imperfections (it's not perfect but very nice). Seats are new, the original frames were used but all new foam and covers were made at Tooter Weavers in Mesa, new black carpet, new firewall pad, and new door sill plates. Needs door panels and head liner to complete interior. I bought a new grill for the car, new door handles, mirrors, and lock set, tank, power disc brakes, all new brake lines and fuel lines. New battery with 1000cca of cranking power! Battery located in trunk with 0ga 600 amp wire going to the starter, 8ga from starter to alt. New chrome 100 amp alt, new aluminum radiator, Stewart aluminum water pump, billet pulleys, this cars got a lot nice new parts. You wont be disappointed! The engine: 396 (10.6:1 comp) This is a brand new custom built engine! Machine work done at Basko, and assembly done by me Assembly clearances on crank .0025-.003" end play .008" Speed Pro forged dome pistons, plasma moly rings Gaps on rings set at .018" top and .022" bottom 454 truck rods that have been resized, beams smoothed, and ARP rod bolts installed ARP main studs intalled 6223 GM forged steel crank (396/427 crank) Fully balanced rotating assy done at Basko Lunati Voodoo (60204) cam and lifters Lift: .554 in .572 ex, dur @ .050: 233 in 241 ex, total dur: 276 in 284 ex, 110 lobe sep double roller Cloyes timing chain Heads are GM 781 oval ports with port matching done Springs are Lunati 73815 (correct springs for this camshaft) 3/8 pushrods Crane energizer roller rockers Edelbrock performer RPM intake that has been fully polished Holley 650 double pumper Fenderwell headers HEI electronic dist Moroso 8mm wires Rare set of vintage M/T 427 aluminum finned valve covers The trans: Brand new custom built 700r4! K case tranny pulled from an 89 2wd Silverado Has Alto HEG clutches 3/4 pack has 9 frictions and steels! set up @ .040 assembly clearance Alto red eagle band Transgo shift kit .471 boost valve Corvette 2nd gear servo New 10 vain pump rotor w/ hardened rotor rings Deep sump chrome pan Wired for 1 wire converter lockup (applies on 4th gear automatically) This transmission shifts really good! The TransGo shift kit feels awesome. Barks into 2nd, snappy 2-3 shift, firm 3-4 shift. Manually holds 1st 2nd or 3rd gear till you're ready to shift, while in manual shift mode. Car has a B&M Mega Shifter, so real fun to drive! The rearend: Ford 9" out of a 69 Mustang with 3.70 gears WAR case (2.89 bearings), 28 spline New posi unit New Timkin bearings New National axle bearings and seals Axles and drums professionally redrilled to 5x4.75 GM bolt pattern Pinion angle set up correctly in relation to trans yoke angle New Dana Spicer u-joints Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This car needs very little to complete, I have most the moldings for it, the 2 lower quarter moldings and the fender moldings have to be replaced but I have both upper quarter moldings, door moldings, and belt line moldings for this car. The side glass is not installed yet, but I have all the parts plus brand new Danchuk vent window assemblies. The rear bumper is not in good shape so I will include just the brackets for it, and I have a descent front bumper for the car if you choose to install it. (looks cooler without it) But It's disassembled, so I'll throw it in the trunk with the car if desired. Needs interior door panels and headliner to complete interior. Thats pretty much it, this car is almost there. A little bit more work and this 57 is done! I've spent a ton of money on this car, lots of new stuff and I'm ready to let it go so I can start a new project. Not desperate so no low ballers. I've done all the work to this car myself and know every single thing about it so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Also, I am not desperate, no low ballers! There's no cheap car for you here, my reserve price is very reasonable for what I've seen in the market, serious buyers only please. This car is described as accurately as possible.
