2000 Ford Lightning Pick up with original paint. This vehicle has been my daily driver for the last several years. The truck comes with the original SVT wheels for the lightnings but they are blacked out with the peel able rubberized paint . I had a new re manufactured engine from Ford installed by a Ford Certified mechanic when this vehicle had approximately 104,000 miles on it. Apparently the inter-cooler went bad and caused damage to the other engine. It cost me $3500 for the engine alone and $1200 labor plus taxes $4957.70 total. I paid $364.11 for a new inter-cooler. Less than a year ago I had new upper control arm assemblies and lower ball joints installed which were all MOOG parts which cost $563.62. Brakes were also replaced within the last year!!! This vehicle currently has approximately 127,000 but I drive it daily so the mileage will be slightly higher at end of auction. I need a larger truck, Crew Cab and therefore I am parting with my Lightning. Positive: Truck runs great and has a very strong engine and transmission. The new re-manufactured engine has less than 25,000 miles with documentation and carries a ford warranty of unlimited mileage, 3 year warranty. I do not know if its transferable something you might want to check out with ford. Inter-cooler, upper control arm assemblies, Lower ball joints and brakes have all been replaced within the last year. Battery was replaced less than two years ago Two tires are in excellent condition like new tread other two are getting wore. This truck has never been wrecked and still has the original paint as far as I can tell. Items needed: Passenger side power window does not work Driver's side fog light and mirror broken Speedometer digital display for mileage only works every once and a while. It calculates mileage etc but does not illuminate all of the time Front air dam has some scuffs underneath Two wheels have road rash on them I tried to take photos that show the shape of the vehicle please review and bid accordingly.
