Offered up for auction is my beloved E36 ///M3 Cabrio. A little background on myself and the car. I've been an avid BMW Enthusiast ever since I traded my Honda Civic for an E30 3-Series back in 1992. After owning multiple E30 and E36 cars, I decided it was time to make my dream of owning a real BMW ///M3 a reality. So I took my search for a pristine example of an E36 ///M3 to the Internet, and I found this certified pre-owned ///M3 at Hendrick BMW in Charlotte North Carolina back in 2005. It had 66,166 miles on it at that time, and I have all of the documentation showing my purchase of the car for $30,786.60. I have all of the books, receipts, documentation, and two sets of original keys w/ two working key fobs. The car has been stored in my garage next to my '88 E30 ///M3 since purchase, and has only seen fifteen thousand easy loving miles since purchase. A couple of years after I purchased the car I purchased factory OEM silver/clear BMW turn signals and tail lights for the car from the local BMW dealer. I also added the aftermarket ellipsoid glass headlights with angel-eyes from Umnitza which is what the car should have come with from the factory in my opinion. I have also replaced the rear convertible soft-top window with a brand new OEM replacement, and front windshield is brand new as well (original comes w/ car). I've never had any issues with this car, these E36 ///M3's are very solid great BMW's unlike the late model ones with tons of issues. Collector appreciation for these E36 ///M3's is on the rise, and the next owner of this car will win as the value of these will continue to rise in the future. Collector cars are a "Win-Win", because you get to enjoy the car and the positive price appreciation. I planned to keep the car forever, but after my wife had a recent neck/back surgery she's unable to drive the car and enjoy it with me. This M3 will not disappoint the pickiest car guys, I'm guilty of being one myself. Titanium Silver over Dove Grey interior. Incredibly clean, and like new inside and out! All original paint is just like new condition, leather seats are nice and supple showing very minimal wear. Fresh service and battery. This M3 has all of it's original body panels with all VIN tags intact and will hold up to the condition of the best lowest mileage examples out there. Drives, handles, and shifts amazing! The automatic transmission in these cars is by far the best and most sporty that I've driven. You can actually hear it down-shift when you're braking, and who wants to bother manually shifting when you're cruising with the top down! I'm a die-hard enthusiast, and I found that these convertibles are more enjoyable with automatic transmission, it really gives you a better opportunity to focus on enjoying the great drive/handling of the car. Factory Options Include: Staggered Double Spoke II Wheels, Factory security system w/ keyless entry, heated seats, 18-Button On-Board Computer, Harmon Kardon Audio with 6-Disc CD Changer, Automatic dual-zone climate Control. A/C blows cold, original convertible soft-top is just like new. Most people abused these cars and did not care for them the way that this M3 has been loved and sheltered.
