1998 Trans Am Convertible. It has a 6.0 swapped in place of the original 5.7 LS1. Everything else kept stock - ls1 intake, exhaust, etc. It does have a cat back exhaust system. 6.0 has just under 130k on it and car has about 138k on it. New tires and brakes. Transmission was rebuilt at the same time as the swap with a new converter. It was NY inspected in May. We've been driving it all summer. No rust issues. Not a NY car. Underside is rust free. Has aftermarket bolt on RAM Air hood, but is not a RAM Air car. Issues : low coolant light on, but coolant level is good - probably faulty sensor. RPM and MPH gauges are not accurate. These are minor issues that I just don't have the time to look into with the other cars I have.Paint is fair - has some peeling clear coat, scratches, and surface cracks in front bumper paint. Top is in great shape and works as it should. Driver seat has a small bolster seam separation. Driver side power window getting a bit slow. No A/C.Runs an drives nice - I've been driving it all over with the top down given the nice weather. It looks great and handles as it should going down the road. It may idle slightly rough. It has the stock LS1 tune and probably needs a better tune with the 6.0. There is a ton of performance potential still in the motor. It's a great car for the price. I would drive it anywhere as-is. It's been very reliable and fun. Might be interested in trades as well. Mostly older vehicles - pre 1972 car or truck.
