1988 535is BMW 6cyl 5 speed manual LSD Last year of the E28 body style and includes limited slip differential option from the factory Drives like a vintage race car! I use it everyday to drive to and from work. Great engine, tires, brakes and clutch. I purchased this car from down south where it has never spent a winter with snow and salt. It is rust -free!. Currently registered, inspected and insured. Feel free ask questions prior to the auction closing. 193k miles on the odometer, but the odometer stopped working earlier this year, so the car has approx. 197k miles.. This car drives awesome. It starts, idles and shifts great with a lot of torque and a nice sounding exhaust sound when revved. The car stops on a dime as the brakes are new with larger front calipers with braided lines. I just took the car to Toronto for the weekend with no issues...6 hour round trip. I would feel comfortable driving this car across country. I need to open up my garage space, otherwise I would keep this for my summer car. It has a working sunroof. The heater blower needs to be replaced. The interior needs attention as the dash has cracks and the leather sport seats are worn. The paint is original with some clear coat fading on the fenders otherwise it is a nice "10-footer". The car has no rust and I have done all the typical maintenance to make this car a great daily driver (fluids, diff mount, inner/outer tie rods, rear bushings, etc...). This car is just starting to gain value as a vintage sports sedan and receives a lot of attention. $500 down payment required within 48 hours via paypal...balance by cash or cashier check prior to pickup.
