This is a great work truck & an antique! 1979 Silverado full size pick-up. When we bought it in 2010, it was painted rat rod flat black. Has some nicks and dings -- we used it as a work truck for a small business we were trying to get started, and were unemployed at the time. Since purchasing it in 2010, we have put on tires, battery, re-manufactured engine, large side mirrors. Since putting in a factory re-manufactured engine, we have put on under 500 miles. We have not been using it for some time, just a few trips to the dump, etc., but has run great for us. It has a full size good bed, red carpeting is in good shape for its age, has the interior roof material. It has power windows that are slow, but work. It has an air conditioner -- but it does not work; heater works great. Full length bench seat, red cloth in good shape. It's an automatic. Sold as is, no warranty. If you want to fix it up, it would make a great project, or just to get around town. We just need to sell it, so make an offer! Best offer we get will take it. Added 8/3: I've had some requests on any rust. I went over the vehicle and added as many photos as allowed. I do have more photos and would be happy to email. There is some rust on the edges of the wheel wells, and some on the chrome of the grill at around the headlights. The worst is at the top of the bed where it is pitted. Also some on the truck sides where the tailgate meets the truck. Also wanted to add its a V-8, 4 barrel, 2 gas tanks. Sometimes the tailgate doesn't quite want to latch. There is also 2 small tears on the back of the bench seat. My husband took the truck out this morning, and the driver's side window came off the track in fell down inside the door. It looks to still be in one piece, but we can't get a hold of it to pull it back up. I'm sure someone can fix it. Gauges: The oil pressure, coolant temperature, speedometer, gas, & tach guages work. The following DO NOT work: battery gauge, clock, and odometer. On Aug-07-16 at 13:50:58 PDT, seller added the following information: 8/7 -- We fixed the window!
