I have for sale a 2008 Piaggio (by Vespa) MP3 400. It has only ever been serviced at Vespa in Sudbury and Toronto. 9763 km. Runs and rides great. The MP3 is a fully automatic (CVT) motorbike (just twist and go), easily capable of highway speeds while delivering exceptional gas mileage. The additional front wheel provides an extra point of contact with the road for improved traction and 30% better braking over 2-wheeled scooters. Unlike a true "trike" the suspension unlocks once the bike is in motion, allowing you to lean into turns at angles that 2-wheeled scooters can only dream of. The extra wheel, along with a parking brake, lets you park the bike without using a stand, while a centre-stand provides for longer-term storage. A rear trunk opens through to under-seat storage, and it has a luggage clamp up front to secure an additional bag or backpack. I installed a GIVI top rack specifically designed for the MP3 that raises the top case for easy entry to the rear trunk. A new 47L monokey topcase is included. A new battery was also installed this spring. The scooter comes with 3 windshields: A GIVI medium-tall windshield (currently on the bike), the original sport (short) windshield, and a rare extra-tall "winter" windscreen specifically designed for the MP3 that allows you to extend your riding season through the colder, wetter weeks. I recently purchased another scooter, and as much as I love my MP3 I can't afford the insurance or the storage space for both.
