CALL VINCENT @ 757-898-1200 FOR MORE INFORMATION. This classic 1990 Mercedes 560SEC is a solid running and great looking classic Mercedes. This 560SEC looks great inside and out! Even more importantly, the A/C is cold! The interior is clean and looks very nice with clean carpet, comfortable leather seats (no rips or tears), clean dash, nice center console, and more! The headliner has a blemish near the sunroof opening, but the interior is otherwise nice. All the power features and options work as they should except for the radio and antenna (see description below). The body is straight and the paint is very nice and glossy all around. This classic Mercedes recently has a fresh repaint in the original color! The 5.6L-V8 engine runs smoothly with good power, but stumbles upon initial acceleration (throttle input) and has a high idle (@1600rpm - we have not diagnosed the cause). Other mechanical/electrical issues are: 1.) The alternator is bad and is dragging causing the belt to slip on it, which is causing a burning smell (the belt will not last much longer). 2.) The brakes are dragging (State Inspection failure - we have not diagnosed the cause). 3.) The fuel pump works, but it is wired up with "speaker" wire instead of the proper gauge wire required. 4.) The left-front ball-joint has excessive play in it and won't pass State Inspection. 5.) The power antenna is inoperable. 6.) The aftermarket radio works, but only gets one station. In spite of the minor issues described here, this Mercedes has great potential and is equipped with heated seats, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power sunroof, dual-power front seats, power steering, power brakes, and more.
