I bought this car in February 2013 with 175,000 miles on it. I used it as a delivery vehicle, drove it about 4,000 miles a month and it ran great and was very reliable until two months ago. The engine will now not start due to three faulty computer-related parts. The service department at World Toyota in Chamblee says it needs a new engine control unit (ECU), idle air control valve and manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. The ECU is located under the dashboard of the car and the IAC valve and MAP sensor are parts attached to the engine and connected to the ECU. The retail cost of replacing these parts plus labor is cost-prohibitive for me. The engine core (which now has 344,000 miles on it) and all other peripheral parts are in good condition. As a project car for someone who has the skills to perform his own repairs, or as a parts car, this vehicle still retains nominal value. It received a monthly oil change every month since February 2013 (when I bought it) and until the electronic components went bad, the engine ran smooth and strong. In addition, it received the following new (or rebuilt) parts and service in the last two years: New alternator: March 2016 Front brakes service: February 2016 New throttle position sensor: February 2016 New left front strut mount: September 2015 New catalytic converter: August 2015 New rear muffler: March 2015 Replace automatic transmission: February 2015 I have receipts for all service and repair work performed on the car from February 2013 to March 2016. The car has a few dents and scrapes on the exterior but is otherwise intact. All four original Toyota-branded wheel covers are included but not shown. The interior is in decent condition for its age. It was overdue for a good wash and wax when these photos were taken (there's a shiny car under a few months' of road dirt). I have a replacement front left fender and driver's door handle to go with it, not shown. With a little bit of know-how and a paint job, this could be a great-looking and great-running car again.
