1965 Pontiac Bonneville project car up for no reserve auction. Numbers matching "YE" code 389ci 4bbl 325hp engine with 3spd auto. Power steering, power brakes, tilt column, 8 lug wheels. Trim tag decodes as cameo ivory paint, blue top with jade blue interior. Original Carter AFB carburetor, intake and exhaust manifolds with correct casting numbers. The 389 is impressive for a stock engine, it really grabs some rubber without even trying. This car has been in long term storage until recently. The Bonnie does run and drive but still needs tires, exhaust and a carb rebuild. Brake, tail, headlights, turn signals and interior lights are all working. Windshield wipers, speedo, and gas gauge also functional. Clock, battery gauge, radio and power top are not operating. Blower motor turns on but squeals. Soft top has tears/holes. The floor pans are pretty solid with exception to the area directly above the rear floor pan brace. Trunk and driver side rocker panel have rust. There is a little bondo around the rear wheels. Boxed frame has rust and will need repair or replacement. Any '65-'66 two or four door Bonneville frame (not wagon) will fit under this car. Low mileage documented on MN title dated 05/1988.
