Vehicle Detail

Up for your consideration is my 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II.I have owned this car for 5 years and the previous owners bought it new.The story behind the car is that the older gentleman that owned it was getting up in years and with his eyesight not being that good.(hence the scrapes down the side) the family told him they would fix the car up for him. They took the front bumper off so he could not drive it and put it in a body shop. There it sat for some time.Later on he either passed or went into the nursing home and the family sold the car to me.This car body while needing repair is about as original as they get.All original paint with no work ever done. The doors, trunk lid and hood line up straight and close nice. The aprons, toe boards, inner fenders, floor pans, trunk pan, extensions, and tail panel are perfect with only surface rust.No rust around the cowl or windshield area.Same goes for the rear window area. The sail panel area has some rust holes just below the pillar by the moulding. The left side is worse than the right. Also some rust on the bottom of the qtr panel on both sides as well. One other small spot on the bottom of the radiator support. But what you see is what you get.NO bondo hiding anything. The car is complete less the radiator, spare tire and jack.I have the original owners manual and the fender tag is still attached.I have not looked for the broadcast sheet. The headliner is shot and both seats need recovered, but the door panels are near mint. The garnish moldings will need to be rechromed for show.they have rust pitting. The engine is loose and the trans shifts.Grill is near perfect and headlight bezels very nice with only minor rock chips.Fenders and doors are clean on the bottoms. No rust repair needed in those areas.Rockers have some small pin holes on the left side.A few as well on the right side.Glass is all good.Windows will roll up and down with a little effort.Glass is all good.Front bumper is with the car.Has a slight bend.Rear is decent as you can see. This is a very solid project car to build on.I was hoping to do a max wedge clone but I sold my motor and just dont have time to get going on this car.I have a clear title to it.As with all my auctions there will be NO RESERVE! I am a serious seller. All I ask is you to be a serious buyer.I have had several 0 feedback bidders bid on my auctions before. If you have less than 10 feedbacks please contact me before bidding.I would like pickup in 30 days if possible and full payment in 7 days.If you are shipping you must make all arrangements. Thanks for looking and have a great day.On Jul-15-16 at 07:09:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I believe this car came with a 273 engine. The motor in it now I believe is a 318 however it could still be the original motor.I will check the block and see for sure when I can. Also I forgot to say that the front two alum rims do not go with car.I have 2 steel rims/tires to replace them.On Jul-19-16 at 10:46:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked again about any rust in cowl area.Again I will say there is absolutely none.In behind the fender and around the hinge area is perfect. There is no rot on either toe board or floor pan.The back of the car is as good as the front. No rot in the frame rails, trunk floor,or tail panel. No rust in the area by the rear bumper. No heavy rust scale underneath anywhere.Only lite surface rust as would be expected in a 50 yo car.I have checked the block casting number and in fact it is a 273 engine,Most likely the original the car came with.If anyone would like more pictures or info on the car I can be reached at 830 388 6260.Thanks
