Vehicle Detail
Extremely Rare 1977 Ford Landau Special Edition. 84,000 original miles, unrestored survivor. This car is NO ordinary Landau - is actually an extremely rare special edition 1977 Ford LTD Landau sedan. They came only in this color, cream exterior, with the cream with blue piping interior. It came out half way through the 1977 model year and was the most expensive and most rare of all the 1973-1978 LTD Landau sedans. Strong running 400 engine, with a strong automatic transmission. 100% original. This car runs very smooth as the carb has been overhauled (I have paperwork), with lots of power, doesn't burn any oil. The paint on the car is 100% original. The car has never been in an accident. The interior is distinctive high quality signature leather, clean, with no rips and no wear at all. The bottom of the car does have rock chips, but not rusted. Would be a perfect car if the bottom half was blended in to cover the rock chips, (I decided to leave it original). The Landau top is in excellent condition, and the paint is also in nice condition. The glass has no scratches. Cold factory Air Con, everything works, including Cruise Control. Even has original CB Radio that was a rare factory option in 1977. It has been said that you can restore a car a thousand times, but it is only original once. Survivor cars are truly special, rare finds in the collector car world. This is one of these cars. If you like the authenticity of original painted sheet metal, the smell of original leather, the sound of original exhaust and door closing, all numbers matching/properly date coded assembly line components, and feel good preserving a part of automotive history, then this might be a car to consider. I have a copy of the original title. Please come and drive this car if you won’t be disappointed. Contact Jeff on 813.217.3595
