89 Reatta Up for bid is a 1989 Buick Reatta with 50k two owner miles. Sold new up north but lived in Florida its whole life. No body rust, excellent paint (except front bumper), and super nice undercarriage. Loaded up with power everything and most of it works - cold a/c, PW, PS, etc. Powered provided by its original 3.8L Buick multiport injected V6 engine and 4 speed automatic transmission. Delivers 19 mpg in town and 31 highway mpg. Exceptionally nice shape throughout. Super solid and runs and drives great - drive this car anywhere. NO RESERVE. Questions? Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all six cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery, good charging system. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in excellent shape - not so much as a door ding. No accidents ever. No rust ever. Paint: Paint is in excellent condition on all the metal body panels and ALL original. The plastic bumpers (front is worst) have paint flaking from their flexible surfaces. I will have them painted at no charge on request of the buyer, but did not paint prior to photographing because nothing has been repainted on this car. Other: Lower trim is all present and in nice shape. Windshield and all other glass are excellent - no wiper scratches or fading on edges of original Solar-Ray windshield. Undercarriage is spotless - see the pics of undercarriage. Aluminum wheels in nice shape with no curb rash but left rear wheel has some delamination as seen in pics. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape. Has NO DASH CRACKS! Drivers seat shows some very light wear. Carpets and headliner are good, leather seats are nice and still soft, and rear deck carpeting is nice. Very nice interior for any age, but WAY better than average for 27 years old. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) The power antenna and keyless entry (have two fobs) do not work. Drivers power lock switch unlock function is finicky - have to hit the switch a few times for doors to unlock. All other power options work including power windows, power locks, power seats, power sunroof, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo, intermittent wipers, trunk release, retained accessory power, digital multifunction controller, anti-lock brakes, and rear defrost all work. A few lines in the rear defroster are broken and dont work. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out beautifully as youd expect of a 50k mile car. Steering is tight, alignment is dead on, and suspension is tight. Brakes work well with about 70% life remaining. Tires are newer with about 80% tread remaining front, 60% rear, on two matched pairs of good quality radials. Solid exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drives GREAT - drive anywhere. Will meet you or your transporter at my location by appointment after 6 pm weekdays or anytime weekends. No administrative fee on this auction.
