Now is your chance to own a legend. Up for sale is my 1984 Honda CR500. I am the second owner of the bike and have owned it since the late 80's. The bike has been parked for many years with thoughts of restoring it some day but the day has never come. Any of you that have ever ridden one of these air cooled rocket ships know that there is nothing like it. The power band is never ending and comes on like a light switch. I never found a hill that I couldn't climb in 3rd gear. I rebuilt the top end and installed the paddle rear tire just before my last outing to Glamis more than 12 years ago. Since then, the bike has been parked inside. It kicks through freely and should start easily after a little attention. The carb was replaced years ago with a square slide Mikuni to give it even more response. Chances are it could use a little love although I am pretty sure I ran it out of fuel before parking it.
