1984 Pontiac Fiero Indy 500 Pace Car original with only 22,000 miles. #1595 of 2000 1984 Indy Pace cars produced and were the first Fiero featuring the aero wing (rear spoiler) and front bumper that became the GT standard for all the following years. The white and steel gray colors with the red fade out stripe is the only way the Indy was built. The red and gray interior is a unique combination of cloth and leather specific to the Indy and was the only time this combination existed in any Fiero! Performance is delivered by the 2.5L Iron Duke Pontiac engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission for both driving excitement and fuel economy. Power 4 wheel disc brakes and sun roof were standard equipment. Options include cold A/C, power mirrors, cruise control, AM/FM stereo with cassette, and rear window defroster. Goodyear Eagle GT raised outline white letter tires were standard on body colored alloy wheels exclusive to the Indy. The tires on this car are the factory originals! Perhaps not the best for long term and long distant driving but supports the originality of the car and the quality of care the car has received over 32 years of existence. Even though the car has extremely low miles, it is driven regularly to keep the juices flowing as should be done with any car. It also passed the strict Missouri safety inspection with flying colors. Everything works, EVERYTHING – parking brake included! Dew wipes are like new as is all glass. There is nothing broken or missing, worn or torn, and no fluid leaks – NONE! Owner manuals are with the car. The purchaser will not be disappointed and will own a piece of Pontiac history second to none. The Pontiac Fiero produced from 1984 through 1988 is the only 2 seat mid-engine USA production car - even to this day there is no other - and the only all plastic bodied automobile with high strength steel space frame construction – you will not find a better low mileage original Indy Fiero anywhere for less.
