Up for your consideration is a 1964 Mercury Montclair, 25th Anniversary Edition. This car was originally purchased in Decatur Georgia from Ferrell Lincoln Mercury in February, 1964 and has remained in Georgia all of its life according to the previous owner. The car has a 390 engine with automatic transmission and the classic retractable rear window which is fully operational, as you can see from the video. The car is in very good condition for its age as you can hopefully see from the pictures. The interior is clean, the head liner is in great shape and intact, as is the dash. The carpet is worn, all the windows work. It is equipped with air conditioning that works. As you can see on the video, the clutch on the compressor engages and disengages. The car always starts and does not leak any oil as it sits in my garage. It has been sitting for some time and could use a tune-up. When it is just idling the carburetor leaks, I think that the float is sticking, when you accelerate it stops. The only other things that I know are an issue is the drivers door latch sometimes won't latch and the light switch seems stuck. I sprayed it with lubricant but it doesn't want to move. I've tried to take enough pictures and videos so you can see what you are buying. I took the mat out of the trunk so you could see there are no holes that need to be repaired.
