This auction is for a 67 CJ5. I bought this truck last summer intending to build a summer ride to share with my sons. I got a great start on the project, but work over the past winter prevented me from finishing her up. I haven't worked on this project since October. Now I do not have room to store it. I do not want to leave outside, so I am looking for a new home. Here is what I have done so far:Replaced the seats and steering wheel. A fresh set of wheels,rims and lug nuts. Front end and shocks. Battery. New dash and instrument clusterThis truck had a fiberglass tub and aftermarket roll bar, as well as headers and side pipes when I took possession. The gauges were non standard, and the speedo was not working. I was told she had approx 77K, but I cannot be certain since the speedo was inoperable. I have driven her less that 1000 miles since I have been in possession. The pros and cons This truck has a very strong motor. Always fires right up, and has a very clean exhaust. (I have not done much under the hood other than basic service). There is a heater core, but none of the under dash heat components. The wiring is mostly done, the tail lights, backup lights, horn and wipers need finishing. The new instrument cluster is in, but needs wiring. it comes with the bikini top you see in the photos, but no other top. I replaced the clutch linkage, and it works great, although a little stiff. The paint is NOT fresh, but the truck does present well. Not a show stopper, but respectable looking. I would call the paint job fair. She is currently on the road, I have been running her around town.
