1978 Suzuki GS1000C. Early year model with wire wheels and aluminum rims. Local 3 owner bike purchased in 2013 with 32,000 miles from 31 year owner (long time bike buddy). Records since 1982. Includes original owners manual, brochure, tool kit, Clymer repair manual, articles from several magazines, hand pump for front air forks and Cartech magnetic tank bag. Original paint and chrome in excellent condition. Inside of tank like new. Soft tank dent from garage item while covered in the 90s. No paint damage. Had estimate for repair from paintless dent shop of $200 but never had it done since the tank bag was used most of the time. My main bike and ridden on 700 mile mile Indy MotoGP weekend the last 3 years. Draws lots of thumbs up and conversations at gas stops. New Bridgestone Battleax tires, Yuasa battery, and DID O ring chain last June. I am an active Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club member and this is the newest of my 10 bike collection. Only selling since this is the year I am riding to the Skip Barber Festival and have an opportunity to purchase a newer bike.. A very clean example that has had excellent care since new.
