I purchased this car from an older gentlemen in his 80’s over a year ago, he had owned the car since the 60’s and have well taken care of it. He had the car fully restored in 1999, the car was mechanically sound with straight body and no rust when I bought it but it needed some cosmetic work. After driving and enjoying the car for a while, I started the cosmetic work by having the car repainted original British racing green. The paint is fresh with several coats of base code/ clear coat, it shines beautifully (straight body has no dents or scratches, looks like a brand new car) , the interior is all new, seats have been redone professionally, new steering wheel, new carpet, new paneling, all metal trim are either polished or re-chromed, dash has been redone. New chrome sports muffler looks and sounds great. Car has single SU carb and runs, drives and stops great and has plenty of power. Car has wire wheels with brand new tires and hub adapter kit imported from England. This car looks beautiful and runs great but it leaks a little oil like any other old British car, however I just recently bought a complete set of oil pan gasket that comes with the car (not installed). I am selling this car so I can effort to start restoration on two other cars that I purchased recently.
