I have been an avid Honda collector for 35 years, and for the past 3 years I have been selling off my bikes. This bike is my absolute favorite. I bought this same model new in 1980, had the chance to buy a 1979 or 1980. The 1980 had the Jimmy Carter Speedo (85MPH), like that was going to save fuel. I bought the 1979 with the real SPEEDO, and Black Paint, I never liked the Silver on the later model. This bike needs nothing, has new tires front and back.New Battery.New Brakes front and back.It does have a clear windshield for riding comfort, I chose a shield that did not interrupt the lines of the bike, but this was my personal daily ride.There is NO RUST, pipes are in great shape.Aluminum Rims are also perfect. The only issue is on the right side of the fuel tank, someone spilled brake fluid and caused some paint staining, but as a collector, it was better left with original paint, rather than a repainted tank.The tank has NO DENTS. For a 35 year old bike, this bike performs like a rocket, and corners like it is glued to the road. Yes I have a $$$$ figure in mind that I will let it go, so there is a reserve, but it is well below the book value. If you have any questions, please give me a call at 888-235-7792.
