2005 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 1.8T MK4 The Good: 138,522 miles mostly highway driving from New York to Virginia Adult Owned and always maintained Clear Title Never modified with any aftermarket parts. Car is completely stock. Never in an Accident 6 Speed transmission No check engine lights on Great reliable fun car to drive, they did not make a lot of these. In 2005 the GLI was still the 1.8T and had the factory body kit. Recent Clutch replacement (less than 500 miles ago) Oil changed every 4,000 miles. Timing Belt service done at 98,500 miles. Included upgraded tensioner, water pump, pulleys and coolant flush. The Bad: The downpipe on the exhaust has a leak and needs to be replaced. The part from ecstuning dot com costs about 250.00 dollars. Selling because I bought a new VW and don’t have time to deal with shops to repair. This is the only repair that the car needs. It can be driven home but will be loud. The car has normal scratches and dings for a used car. It’s a great fun little car.
