OK, I am selling my Transalp because a very close friend of mine just got killed in a motorcycle accident and I can no longer ride knowing the pain I would cause my friends and family if this happened to me. I was once a pro MX racer, I know bikes, and I love this bike, but I have a 13 month old baby boy.... Now, I bought this bike from a doctor in 6/97. It had been storeed in his garage since he bought it and dropped it and damaged the tank. He bought the only other color that year red! It had 3,679 miles on it, original tires, chain, etc... Like new. I already had a T/A so I put all my aftermarket parts on the 1990 and sold my 1989. Please see the picturtes for the Givi top box, tank bag, crash bars, new front disc, a great smoked winshield along with the original parts, seats, etc.. I just put a brand new chain on it last month. I always used Moblie 1 oil and changed oil every 3,000. This was a frequently riden bike and now still has only 22k miles. Tires are Continental Attacks with many many miles of tread. This is a bullet proof bike and engine and is SO much fun to ride. I had hoped to take it to Costa Rica, but plans change.
