I am selling my 1960 Lilac LS-18 motorcycle. It is a Japanese made 250cc v-twin , similar to the later Moto Guzzi. It features a shaft drive and electric start. I have the California title in my name, and it is under non-operational status. The bike has the original black license plate. Condition: This bike starts easily with the electric start and quickly takes an idle. Choke not needed. The headlight, horn and blinkers work. Brake switch needs work. The transmission is a 4 speed, rotary, which means you can shift down once more from 4th gear and you'll be in neutral. I'm having an issue of it jumping out of gear into neutral. I don't know why. Also, rode it to the gym today and it was leaking oil. I figure a seal must've failed. I include the original owners manual and a sales brochure. Also, the brakes are pretty weak. I think there is rust on the hub surfaces. The mufflers and the 12 volt lithium ion battery are new. I posted a short video of the bike on youtube entitled Lilac LS-18
