Up for auction is a 1930 Ford Model A 5 window coupe with rumble seat. Stock 4cyl motor. 3 spd manual trans. Car was fully restored aprox 15 years ago, driven sparingly until the prior owner passed away. It has been stored away until we recently acquired it. I believe the complete drive line has been gone thru. Runs and drives beautifully.All brakes were completely done and adjusted properly they stop on a dime. Front end parts all appear as new and is tight. Complete interior was redone . Bumpers were sent out and re chromed. Rumble seat cushions appear to be new. The 80 year old prior owner had the original color (green with straw wheels) changed to the cordovan brown and black that you now see. Looks very rich. New black roof insert also. The 4 tires are the Garfield brand and are new also. The body is all steel with the exception of the rear fenders being glass. Doors open and close nice and fit like a glove. Front windshield opens out. I believe the body was taken off the frame as the underside is nice clean and painted. Nice solid car no rust. Appears all gaskets and rubber products were replaced also. The only thing that I see you may want to change is the ignition switch was replaced with a toggle switch. The old gent always lost the keys and his son installed the switch to make it easier for him. A new key and switch is readily available from many parts sources for model A "s . If your looking for a Model A that wont break the bank then this may be for you. There are a few minor paint chips that can easily be touched up. The car is not perfect but is an exceptional car for being 86 years old.
