1970 BMW 2800CS This is a presentable driver. The engine is currently a 3.0 from a later car. It also now has a 4 speed, but started life as an automatic. Typical east coast coupe rust areas were repaired at some point in the past as can be seen in the photos. (Although front engine bay repairs are not pretty, they are solid) Floors are getting rusty again from sitting, and will need to be redone at some point. Rockers appear to be good. All important suspension mounting points are solid. Paint is an approximately 15 year old re-spray that presents well, no big blemishes, no rust bubbles. Interior is clean but seat leather is shot. There are some sheepskin covers on front seats right now. Tires are brand new Michelins, shocks are older Bilstiens, but still good. Car runs and drives and feels great on the road.
