Nice, original 1976 R75/6This is a bike I acquired a few years ago. It had low compression on the right cylinder and the previous owner parked it about 15 years ago pending repair. I repaired a leaky valve (lapped all 4 valves and leak tested the heads), replaced the piston rings with a ball hone job, and replaced the top end gaskets (push rod seals, base, head gaskets). I changed the engine, transmission, drive shaft, and final drive oils.Greased wheel bearings, wheel splines, and all other grease points. Cleaned the tank and fuel filters, and replaced all the fuel lines.New batteryCleaned the carburetors in an ultrasonic tank, and replaced o-rings and gaskets.Balanced the carburetors with vacuum gauge. Put on a set of slightly used Avon AM18 tires. Still plenty of tread. Flushed the disc brake system and replaced brake fluid. The bike runs good, but I have not really put any serious miles on it. The odometer reads 35k miles. It is very original, near 100% as it came from the factory. It is not a trailer queen, but still looks very good. The pictures show some surface rust on the handlebars, and there are some scratches on the paint work.
