I have a stunning example of a Honda C102 Super Cub for sale. This bike was carefully restored over the last five years and is now up for sale. The project was carried out in a way that keeps the integrity of the original design, but with a few improvements to make it more stylish, reliable and better to ride. The frame and other metal parts have all been shot blasted and powder coated in a light grey / blue color. The plastics were then ;professionally painted to match. I improved the design of the seat for a stylish look, it has been professionally recovered with cross stitching. The electrical system has been rewired and simplified for reliability. The bike is now started with a kick starter rather than electrically, and it no longer has a battery. No dead battery to worry about! With this bike I decided to replace the engine with a Lifan 110cc, 4-Speed with auto clutch. This gives the bike some decent power and you can actually ride around at a comfortable speed. The engine is quiet, reliable, and runs well. I have installed it in a way that still uses the original style air filter system, exhaust and covers. The installation is very neat and looks very original. Every part on this bike has either been restored or replaced, with no expense spared. There are thousands of dollars worth of restoration receipts which is additional to the original purchase price of the bike. All this history will come with the sale. The bike is inspected, registered and has a North Carolina tag. (Mopeds in N.C. are not titled, they are registered with the state.) I will provide the registration documents with the sale. (Registration not title) This moped is truly stunning and draws attention wherever I ride it. It won first place in the Raleigh bike show after the restoration.
