95 Caprice wagon wht 140k Up for bid is a 1995 Chevy Caprice station wagon with 141k two southern Kentucky owner miles. Car is loaded up with lots of power features and they all work. Exceptionally nice interior. Boasting GMs Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Base 2.56 open rear end. Pleasant after 6:30 pm weekdays or any time weekends by appointment. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery & good charging system, new radiator. Starts easy and runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is in nice shape. The only rust is a sunflower-seed sized spot near the right rear taillight. No rust or bondo otherwise. Has few small dings: one in the tailgate, a scrape/dent low on the right rear quarterpanel, one below the gas door, and a very small ding in the hood. Paint: Paint is very nice and shiny and original everywhere except the tailgate, which has been repainted in some spots. Other: Lower beltline trim is very nice - fake chrome is not all peeling like most of these. All glass is good - no cracks or chips. Undercarriage is very nice with only minor surface rust - see the pics. Underhood sheet metal has a small rust blister on the inner fender; tailgate sill and door jambs have NO rust as seen in pics. Hubcaps are in good shape. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is very nice. The only complaints are some very minor carpet soil and a spot on the headliner. Dash has no cracks, carpets are nice, cloth seating areas are in great shape, cargo deck carpet in great shape, third seat like new, headliner is nice with no sagging or fading, steering wheel is in nice shape with minimal dye wear, door panels are nice with no cracks or fading. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) ALL power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, power drivers seat, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm stereo cassette, rear window release, rear wiper, auto-dim rearview mirrors, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 30% tread remaining rear, 90% remaining front, on two matched pairs of good quality radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drive anywhere. Short version terms: Small non-refundable deposit as listed (but fast) by Paypal within 24 hours.
