Vehicle Detail
This 2004 Saab 9-5 Aero was purchased from the second owner in November 2013 with ~110k miles on it. It has served well over the past two and a half years, needing mainly maintenance, with a few minor repairs. I've personally put ~68,000 miles on it in the past two and a half years. These miles were predominately highway. 2004 Saab 9-5 Aero Specs and Features 2.3L Turbo "B235R" Engine5 Speed Manual Transmission - Clutch holds well, no slippageXenon HID Projector Auto-leveling headlights Heated driver and passenger seatHigh pressure headlight washer nozzlesAuto-dimming rear view mirrorsAuto-dimming side view mirrorsCD & Cassette player with AM/FM RadioGM's Onstar button8-way power driver and passenger seats Driver seat has 3 position programmable memoryBlack leather interiorKeyless entryRear back-up sensors4-wheel ABS4-wheel disc brakesGlass electric front sunroof with one-touch opening Maintenance and Repair since I purchased the vehicle - **All maintenance and repair since I purchased the car have been performed at the GM dealer that I work at, by certified GM technicians** Oil changes exactly every 5,000 miles, using ACDelco filter and Mobil Dexos1 Synthetic blendDIC - Direct Ignition Cassette (Ignition coil/module unit) was replaced ~150 miles agoDriver's window rollers replaced ~200 miles agoFront pads & rotors, and rear pads replaced ~400 miles agoNew front windshield installed ~500 miles ago4 new Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season tires installed less than 6,000 miles ago4-wheel alignment performed with new tiresNew thermostat hose ~300 miles agoTwo new front control arms with all new bushings and balljoints installed ~6,000 miles agoB&G Lowering Springs installed ~8,000 miles agoTaliaferro Solid Urethane transmission mount installed ~8,000 miles agoNew NGK spark plugs installed ~8,000 miles agoNew Bosch pre-cat O2 sensor installed ~10,000 miles agoNew OEM Saab oil cooler installed ~10,000 miles agoTwo new rear hub bearings with ABS sensors installed ~15,000 miles agoNew aftermarket A/C condenser installed ~20,000 miles agoNew thermostat and coolant temp sensor ~60,000 miles agoNew ACDelco Battery installed ~60,000 miles ago Notable items - Leather is in overall good shape, but driver's seat is just now starting to show wear from the mileage. Not cracking or split, just wearing/getting a little lighter in color.Paint on front end of car is showing it's age, though is still mainly intact. Nothing flaking off, just small stone chips, fading a bit, etc.Passenger fender has a crease in it. Not many people notice it unless I point it out, but it's there.Front end of car, bumper and leading edge of hood, are showing road wear from sand/stone chips/etc.Front bumper has a crack at the very bottom. Vehicle runs well. Any time I've gotten a noise, check engine light, etc, I've had it brought into the shop at work (Buick GMC Dealership) within a few days to have the problem taken care of. Again, my mileage was mostly highway, as I commute ~102 miles per day, 5-6 days per week. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
