Vehicle Detail

The Good: Receipts for: Warn 4WD hubs, Radiator Hoses, AC system in ’05, Fuel Filter and pump ‘11, Front/Rear bearings, Radiator, Brake Pads and Rotors, Differential Housings and Axel Shaft Seals, Window Seals (door and rear gate), Transmission Repair ’05 and cooler upgrade, Battery ’15 This vehicle was well taken care of the last 25 years. It has roughly 180k miles, but you wouldn’t know because it runs and drives like it was brand new. Starts every turn of the key. It has 3 sets. 1991 was the last year Chevy made the K5 blazer, and this one was fully loaded with every option they had available. The Bad: Tires are a bit weathered, good for use around town and off road. The AC system doesn’t engage, there’s a loose wire, it can be hotwired to turn on but isn’t currently. The Cruise Control also isn’t working. There’s a hole in the driver side seat, typical in this age range. Paint is starting to age as well, but it’s still in good condition for its age. The Ugly: I’m asking $5500, other K5’s sell for $4200+ and this is the nicest you’ll find. Updates: I don't see any rust related issues on the vehicle, the tires have great tread, they've just been in the AZ heat too long and have started to crack. They should hold up without issue on a drive, I'm just doing my best to be honest. The motor, tranny, and transfer case all work like a dream. No smoking or slippages. The transfer case does have a small drip from the seal going to the rear axle. In the last 3 years I've checked it 3 times (every 12 months) and I haven't needed to top it off. Its VERY SLOW, just annoying really. The suspension handles well, even over the rocky terrain here in AZ, everything articulates and returns to center. I've had the Blazer on the I40 going 80mph on the speedo (85mph on GPS), so that should give you an idea of how well its holding up. The newer photos I uploaded are from when I bought the blazer, it has since seen some rain and mud. Still can be cleaned up to look like that. The crack in the window of the new photos is on the removable shell. Since I've owned the blazer it has not grown or leaked at all.
