Up for auction is our Chevrolet Caprice Estate Wagon. This beautiful survivor has 32,000 actual miles. Its well optioned and documented as; Numbers Matching 327/275 HP engine, Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, tilt column, tinted glass, power rear window, factory dual exhaust, wood-grain body trim, front bumper guards, deluxe factory seat belts, roof rack/wind deflector, tilt steering wheel, floor mats, am radio and storage compartment lock. The original Protect-O-Plate, owner’s manual and original window sticker are all included with the car. The Tripoli Turquoise paint is original and very nice. This car has not been spot painted and looks very nice. All of the wood trim is exceptionally nice and not split or cracking. The driver’s side rear door does have one small spot where the wood grain has peeled off ( about the size of your thumb). All of the chrome, stainless and chromed pot metal is beautiful and shows no pitting or dents (right front blinker is slightly tweaked down) see pics. All of the glass is original and very nice, the side windows roll up and down with ease and are very smooth. It’s the factory tinted glass too. The Turquoise interior is most impressive. It shows very little wear and is very original. With the exception of the carpet, I believe all of the interior is factory GM. It looks amazing in every way. All of the materials are soft with no splitting, all of the original heat seams are clean and crisp. Reproduction door panels and other pieces have a different look than factory and this car is definitely factory original. All of the gauges are crisp and work as they should. The entire dash is truly show quality and original. The steering wheels is smooth and has no splits. All of the pedals and driver controls are original and show little wear and go along with the 32,000 miles. This Estate Wagon runs and drives like a NEW CHEVROLET and can be driven anywhere. The fuel system, cooling system, brake system and all of the fluids have been either replaced or updated for dependability and safety. This car drives like a dream. Its tight and quiet with no rattles or squeaks. It goes down the road like a 32,000 mile Chevrolet should. The engine runs strong with no major leaks or odd noises and certainly does not smoke. Transmission shifts perfectly and the rear differential is good too. Currently, this wagon is sporting 15’ GM rally wheels with black wall radials. It includes the original 14’ steel wheels with white wall radials and the original (grandma) looking hubcaps. If the new owner chooses, I will keep the rally wheels for a credit off the final price of $600 and reinstall the factory wheels. This wagon is very nice under the hood as well and has been professionally detailed using great caution to preserve originality. The undercarriage is what you would expect, clean and rust free. No issues and very presentable. This is a spectacular original wagon, ready to take the family out for a Sunday cruise in style! Includes a nice display board for car shows.
