Up for sale is a 1993 gmc typhoon. .I won't go into the truck because if you are looking at it...you know what it is...but I will describe this particular typhoon as honestly as possible I just purchased the typhoon last summer...it is very clean..but certainly not perfect. ..I have made no mechanical upgrades to the vehicle so what was done previously I have no idea. .there is a k&n airfilter...the car was lowered and there's an alpine radio..those are the only changes I can see...the truck runs very well...sometimes on full throttle there's a little hesitstion..which it did when I bought it...it shifts hard as it should..brakes work fine..as does the a/c and heat...all lights work...I drove this over 5000 miles with no problems...except for a small hose cracked for antifreeze that is now fixed...I'll try to list what does and doesn't workThe car starts up fine everytime..runs great too...just sometimes the hesitation...as stated heat and a/c work..wipers work..but I took off the rear one..didn't like it and it was moving all over the place..the radio turns on but doesn't play..apparently there was an amp that is no longer there..custom speakers by rear seats..I had the wheels balanced but at some highway speeds there is a shake..alignment seems off just a bit...all power features work..mirrors..windows. .seat...I replaced the headlights with white led ones..also new aftermarket foglights with white led bulbs. .full interior led lights...I also replaced the turn signal lever for the writing and got a brand new rear defog switch and a better rear wiper switch...the cruise control doesn't work..I also purchased new lloyds floormats. .grey with typhoon embroidered in gols..both front and the full one for rear seat..I started doing some little things to improve the look..replaced the rear window shocks a bunch of screws etc...the interior is in almost perfect shape. ..no rips tears or ctacks..plus my 3 hour detail job including cleaning the spare tire..the rear gate latch also only works for the tailgate and not the window. .but the button inside does workOverall this is a very clean typhoon. .especially the interior..the outside as I took pics has the couple normal rust spots by cladding. .but not rotted. .all cladding is there as you can see so that's a plus. .tires seem newer...I've gotten a ton of compliments as is on the vehicle..just don't have the time and funds to continue doing to it what I would like to doFeel free to ask questions. .I'll take extra pics..overall don't think any dissapointments based on my description. .it was better than I thought when I saw it last year...if a purchase is made..no test rides without verified money in hand..I do have small loan so that'll b paid and title sent out...buyer responsibility for pick up..etc...ty good luck..if my reserve isn't met I may contact you after so bid accordingly. .I'm not desperate to sell so I won't just let it go..and in the meantime I'll still drive it around. .
