1983 Porsche 944. I purchased this 944 in January & drove it several months until I got the clutch replaced in my '84 944 in March. Several of these trips involved distances of over 100 miles. Never had any issues. The rear tires are somewhat worn but good in the front. Falken tires all the way around. The timing belts & water pump were replaced in 2014. The front coil system is newer Koni. The bad: Wiper doesn't work.crack in windshield on passenger sideheater fan doesn't work. The good:inexpensive, running 944, not a junk project. aftermarket header & updated exhaust. fair paint, with some sun fading.This is a southern car, free of major rust. AM/FM stereo. Priced reasonably for a running, driving 944. Low opening bid reflecting the minor hail damage. I've been told the damage can be repaired inexpensively. Clear title. Odometer is broken, actual mileage unknown. The previous owner is a Porsche mechanic in Knoxville, TN & this was one of his cars. I have a CARFAX report with 15 years of information & the only issue was the odometer discrepancy. I will email the report at your request. The Porsche was in Florida from 2000-2007. Tennessee 2008-2015 & Georgia 2016. The report shows a title was issued in TN in 1990, but no information from 1990-2000. Inspections welcome. Feel free to ask questions. On Apr-12-16 at 05:08:30 PDT, seller added the following information: There are no rust holes in the battery compartment. I found a black cloth rear seat base that I will include with the sale. I also have a hail-free hood in red primer paint that I will install free of charge if the winner desires. It won't match exactly, but it is free of hail marks. There are no hail marks on the sunroof, as it's fiberglass & in very good condition. The brakes are all in very good condition with greater than 70% pad life left & no excessive wear on the rotors. The front lower spoiler has typical curb scrape marks, but is intact & not torn & ripped. I will add a few photos of the tires & more very soon.
